Peter Pan, Jr. - May, 2014 - Asheville Masonic Temple

Asheville, NC– Asheville Performing Arts Academy’s Children’s Theatre Program presented PETER PAN JR at the Masonic Temple Theatre, downtown Asheville, Memorial Day Weekend.  Magic swept the stage as Charlene Powers and Sophie Rueger flew (on Heelys) across the stage as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.  Flying alongside the Darling children, played by Zoe Von Kohorn (Wendy), Sam Wilson (John), and Cas Cusic (Michael), Tinker Bell and her fairy friends told the enchanting tale of Never Land and the boy who won’t grow up.

John Coggin directed the PETER PAN JR production.  Production staff also included Lenora Thom, Music Director, and Kylee Rose Frye, Assistant Director.  Academy Training Program student Sarah Plaut choreographed and Academy Student Intern Amanda Wilson stage managed.  Lighting design by Taylor Collins and costumes by Heather Gallagher and Jacob Walas.  Set construction by James Carter and artistic design and painting by Rachel Gordon.
