PUFFS

Student in grades 7-12

PUFFS rehearsals will take place Monday-Friday 10-4pm each week (2 week camp), with performances June 18 & 19. Cost of camp $500.

Early and late care available for an additional fee of $50 (7:45am drop off and 5pm pick up)

Puffs is an award winning play that follows a group of friends through their 7 years at a VERY PARTICULAR magical school (where Harry, Ron, and Hermione attend). These aren’t THOSE friends, but the story DOES take place at the same time!

Instead, they belong to Puffs; and are utterly ordinary and a little underachieving. Hilarious and heartwarming, this is the play for any fan of “the boy with the scar” who wants to explore that most unglamorous house.

June 21-25, 2021

The Moana Workshop

9-3pm Monday-Friday and Friday performance at the end of camp $300

Actors will help create their costumes and props and put on a show. In between learning songs and staging, they will take breaks, play games, enjoy the sunshine, and make new friends.

Disney’s Moana JR. is a musical adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life onstage. Moana JR. features all the beloved songs from the film, written by Tony®, GRAMMY, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, and Mark Mancina, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.”

This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.

Annie is such a fun story full of liveliness, heart, bravery, great friends, bright optimism, and the most excellent SONGS! Let’s live “Tomorrow” today! Come join in on what will be a lot of fun.

Princesses

Students in grades 1-6

Princesses will take place in the morning from 9am - Noon. Performances will take place at 12pm on Friday

This camp is for those wanting to explore the inner workings of the princesses.

Take a ride with Jasmine on a magic carpet and befriend her tiger pet. Explore with Ariel under the sea, finding gadgets and gizmos galore while maybe kinda shirking some princess responsibilities or explore uncharted territory with Moana. Find out just what kind of princess YOU are, and how you want to run YOUR kingdom!

Villains

Students in grades 1-6

Villains will take place from 12:30pm - 3:30pm. Performances will take place at 3:30pm on Friday

This camp is for those wanting to explore the inner workings of the princesses and/or their so-called villains.

Villains… are they really all THAT bad? There’s always another side to the story. Why did Ursula really steal Ariel’s voice? Did Jafar have the keen mind for details necessary to be a better leader than the absent-minded Sultan? Was Gaston really just trying to protect his neighbors from a seemingly reclusive, moody, beast-type monster? Let’s explore the other side of the story and our imaginations, and see what things look like from the other side.

July 19-23, 2021

SUPERHEROS

Students in grades 1-6

9-3pm Monday-Friday and Friday performance at the end of camp $300

Early and late care available for an additional fee of $50 (7:45am drop off and 5pm pick up)

Do you have what it takes? There are so many favorite heros…. Wonder Woman, Spider Man, the Marvel Universe… can you save the day? We will explore the traits and qualities of all of these superheroes and then create our very own. What powers will you have? How will YOU make a difference? We will work together to create an epic script and then film our very own short Superhero movie, to share with your loved ones! Loads of fun exploring our powers and a great one to be able to share.

July 26-30, 2021

Revolting Children

Separate workshops for students in grades 1-3 and grades 4-9

9-3pm Monday-Friday and Friday performance at the end of camp $300

Early and late care available for an additional fee of $50 (7:45am drop off and 5pm pick up)

Let’s explore musicals in which CHILDREN rise up and inspire social change! Matilda used her powers to get rid of Trunchbull with the help of the other REVOLTING CHILDREN. Annie escaped from Ms. Hannigan after spending a “Hard Knock Life” in the orphanage. The NEWSIES went on STRIKE and showed them all that they were the KING OF NEW YORK. There’s so much inspiration when you pay a little extra attention to these awe-striking stories. A really beautiful way of feeling that power bubbling inside each of us, in the big (and small) ways each and every day.

Aug 2-6, 2021

Merry ol’ Land of Oz/From Wizard (0f) Oz to Wicked

Separate workshops for students in grades 1-5 and grades 6-10

9-3pm Monday-Friday and Friday performance at the end of camp $300

Early and late care available for an additional fee of $50 (7:45am drop off and 5pm pick up)

“Oh what a celebration we’ll have today!” Let’s follow the yellow brick road to Oz and explore the different musicals set in this place. Was Elphaba all bad or just misunderstood? Where did she really go when Dorothy dumped the bucket of water on her? Depending on the story…there are different outcomes. Was Glinda really POPULAR, like the song suggests?

Come and find out! This creative and performance based camp will culminate in a sharing session for family and friends. Whether you join our munchkin chorus or dive deeper into script analysis of these characters motives, you are sure to have a great week diving deeper into your craft.

August 9-13, 2021

Are YOU Pitch Perfect?

Students in grades 6-12

9-3pm Monday-Friday and Friday performance at the end of camp $325

Early and late care available for an additional fee of $50 (7:45am drop off and 5pm pick up)

Does a capella singing make you hum like an electric guitar? Do you walk down the aisles of your school with an eye to where would be a great spot for a 10-foot knee slide while belting out the chorus of the song in your head? This could be for you.

Come sing songs a la Glee and Pitch Perfect and make those inner visions come true! Work in unison with your fellow actors to create those scenes most just dream of. “Don’t Stop the Music'' until you “Let it Whip” right. These are not just “Silly Love Songs”... well, ok, maybe some of them are. Let’s find the magic in you, and have fun with this.
